Some details to know. Watch your cutout diameter. I bought a speaker with an 11.25" diameter mounting size, this box takes 11.125". It's a very small difference, but enough to not install the speaker. Also, if you get a larger speaker, near 7" mounting depth, take note that the cutout at the bottom of the box is 7" across. The speaker I bought was shallower than the mounting depth, but the magnet was 8" across, so it wouldn't fit. It wasn't a detail covered in the speaker dimensions information. (FYI, I originally tried a Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12, so this doesn't fit).
The box is of solid construction as far as I can tell. It has a good weight and feels durable. The protective cover comes with velcro to keep it from sliding around. The box fits FLUSH WITHOUT THE TOP, so add about an inch to the height if you want the cover on there. I prefer having the protective cover, but that's a personal preference.
Beautiful box, well designed. I give 2 thumbs up and some 5 starts as well.
