The factory spare tire bolt/clamp is used to secure the box in place as seen in the pictures. The top of the box is notched out for the spare tire cover bracket so you dont have to remove it. A small piece of carpeted mdf is included which covers the spare tire cover bracket and utilizes the factory plastic screw bolt.....very easy.
